Welcome to RPD 2002 Rapid Product Development
The competitiveness of
Industry is based on its great flexibility in adapting to new
technologies and market trends. The support for enterprises to
improve their capacity and competitiveness can be achieved with
the help of Rapid Technologies. Therefore, in order to present,
discuss and evaluate the new and advanced Rapid Technology
potentials and solutions, as well as user's recommendation for
efficient product development processes, on 8th and 9th October
2002 will take place the RPD 2002 Rapid Product Development event,
entitled “Advanced Solutions and Development”.
It will be a privileged forum for the discussion of themes as:
Rapid Prototyping and Rapid Tooling; CAD/CAE/VR; Rapid
Manufacturing and Reverse Engineering, among others.
We invite world class research teams and manufacturers to speak
first hand about successful projects, and we also invite Students,
Researchers, Mould makers, Technicians and all community to
