From 20th to 24th September 2010, Portugal will be the world capital of the Mould and Die Industry.
Embracing the competitiveness challenge imposed by a global economy, the Moulds Event 2010 will comprise the consistent integration of added value seminars, conferences and workshops, towards the edification of an environment prone to innovativeness.
International companies, suppliers and researchers were brought together to exchange information, share ideas and discuss proposals towards a Sustainable Development of the International Mould and Die Industry.
RPD 2010 - Rapid Product Development Event
Under the theme "Industrial Knowledge for Innovation", this year's edition of RPD will be further focused on the Research, Development, Application and Demonstration of Rapid Product Development Technologies, Methodologies and Cases driven by Industrial Innovation and Competitiveness. This year the event will be held once again at CENTIMFE in Marinha Grande from September 20th to 21st.
Integrated in Moulds Event 2010, RPD 2010 intends to surpass the results achieved in the previous editions.
BE 2010 - Brokerage Event
Based on the success of the previous initiatives, Marinha Grande – Portugal- will be in 2010, the innovation theatre for a Brokerage Event dedicated to the Engineering, Tooling and Plastic Processing Industries.
Foreseeing the launch of calls for R&D and Innovation projects, within National, Regional and European programmes, the Brokerage Event 2010 will be instrumental in the establishment of international consortia towards the launch of RTD and Innovation projects, exploration of business opportunities and networking.
The Brokerage Event 2010 is a joint initiative under the umbrella of EUREKA initiative.
Engineering & Tooling International Conference
In an environment of globalization and rapid technological evolution, the challenge of competitiveness forces companies to develop additional skills and implement innovative models of organization, strategy and cooperation
Surviving in such atmosphere of extended complexity means that competitive advantages have to be promoted, developed and maximized. The emphasis should be placed on the development of skills which provide opportunities to maximize the knowledge, experience and technological potential. Therefore, the assimilation and efficient use of information together with the innovation play a vital role in the approach to the international market.
In a dynamic organization, interaction with surroundings, the establishment of cooperation networks, the correct identification of driving forces and the ability of the dynamics of change are key factors when developing strategies. In essence, such skills are critical to the success of organizations.
With this aim in mind, and as a result of concerted efforts, it has been formed by Cefamol — the Portuguese Moulds Industry Association a forum for reflection and debate on main trends and perspectives for the development of Engineering and Tooling Industry worldwide. This forum is the conference "Moldes Portugal 2010".
